The Followup After Injections

I'm always amused when the doctor office calls the day after receiving

an injection to check on how I'm doing.

Generally I respond with an off the cuff remark like, " I had a needle

shoved in the most painful part of my body. How do you think I feel doc? "

Sure everyone sits at home and sticks straight pins in their bodies

because it's just so much fun.

Here doc,...hand me that hypo and I'll show you how absolutely

pleasurable it is to get a long, sharp piece of metal inserted into an

inflamed area of -your- body.

Then I'll call tomorrow and see how you feel,...you " weenie " .
