Not all doctors are created equal, it requires specialized training to diagnose and treat Fibromyalgia. Has your PCP ever made a diagnosis and treated this disorder with any of his patients before? > my orthopedic told me I have fibro > A neurosurgeon told me I have fibro This is just my opinion, but I believe that these two fields of medicine are unqualified to give a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. > A rheumotologist told me I have fibro This field of medicine is widely acknowledged as being a credible source for diagnosing and treating Fibromyalgia. > My pcp sent me to another rheumotologist who did loads of blood test > and told me she thinks it's muscle spasms. > > UGH, I am so aggravated I don't know what to think and my PCP told me > he couldn't help me anymore This is a clear indication that it's time to shop around for a PCP that has the skill and experience to help you with your present condition, your present PCP might not have the sufficient experience to treat your current health issues. Ask specifically if you decide to change PCP's if they have any experience treating Fibromyalgia to cut down on the looking around.
