I was afraid of the same thing. But he gave me my refill as usual on the

hydrocodone so I thought that I will try the Lyrica. If I had to give up the

only med that I KNOW helps in order to try that one, I would not accept it. I

will let you know sweetie. I have not been brave enough to try it yet. I am

going to wait a few days. But.... he will have to give me samples or I won't be

able to afford it. Unless...... I can get some deal with the pharmaceutical

company that will give me a reduced price.

Why do you have to give up your hydrocodone if you go on Lyrica? The two of them

together might bring you a lot of relief. Lyrica is actually an anti-seizure

med, not a narcotic or opioid. If your pain is not being managed by just

hydrocodone, you should give Lyrica a try. It works really well for some people.

Cymbalta (an antidepressant) also helps a lot of people with their pain.

Debra. when you try the lyrica could you please tell me how it makes you feel, I

soooo don't want to give up my hydrocodone. I am so afaraid to try new stuff.

Morphine and Oxycotin I won't take and the Methadone I tried put me in la la

land. I did lose weight while on it as i was no longer hungry nor would I talk.

I was like a zombie. What would be some good stuff to try?
