Guest guest
Girlsaylor, You may want to suggest to your SIL to call her insurance company and see if they cover in-home aides, especially with both arms in casts, or if she belongs to a local church, call on their ladies to help out with meals or something! Her husband sounds like a jerk, but it takes all kinds. I hope she heals up quickly! Darlene > > I have a sister-in-law with fibro, very severe. Guest guest
Darlene- Ah, I only wish they had health insurance. Like me, they've been victims of the economy. So they've got that mess on their hands also. Right about my brother being a turd (hope that's not too much like cussing!) Not sure about whether she goes to church. I know he does not. I'm really torn. I could ask if I should come take care of her. But I can't be in the same house as my brother. Don't need to spoil anybody's day as to why. Just please trust me, I will not be in the same room or building as my brother. girlsaylor > > > > I have a sister-in-law with fibro, very severe. Guest guest
oh my goodness, that poor girl...how in the world is she going to manage....I'll say a prayer for her.. /Mi balance issues and Fibro and now an accident! I have a sister-in-law with fibro, very severe. She lost her balance a couple of days ago, fell down a flight of stairs. Broke her wrist pretty bad, and busted the shoulder joint in two places (the ball of the shoulder) on opposite side. Had to have surgery on the shoulder, and both arms now in casts. Of course, she's one who has a stinker spouse who goes so far as to suggest to her what to cook for dinner for her own birthday! So she's not getting any assistance at all (in another state than I am.) Another reason to not be shy about using mobility aids, even just a cane, if needed, to help keep us stable and balanced. girlsaylor
