I hope you can work things out.  Maybe this little episode will open his eyes

and the two of you can work on things.  Sounds like you have been married for

quite a long time.  It would be a shame if you could not work it out.  Rule #1-

try try try to NOT let money cut a relationship apart.  (that one is for him).

Well my life offically sucks

wanted to say that my life offically sucks is that Pat has offically

said he's leaving me, I screwed up on our checking account and as

such he said that he's done and is leaving. Yeah we've had other

issues and of course I know that they are partly my own fault but he

too is to blame. He says that we've been behind on bills since I quit

my job at Taco Bell and in some ways I agree that it was my own fault

that I didn't make sure that I had another job before i left the one

I had. But now I have a job and we are waiting for that economic

stimulis money that was supposed to have come in at the beginning of

the month like the dates said but since nothing has come in, I over

drew our account. I guess maybe the fact that my marriage has finally

come to

I too hope that the two of you can work things out. So many marriages end up in

divorce and it's sad. Now that's not to say if you are abused (man or woman) or

something really really bad yes, get a divorce. I pray that things will work out

for your family!

Vicki,

I am so very very glad that his mom told him to go back home (she

sounds somewhat supportive?) and that his friends told him to grow

up. Money can be a killer in a marriage, but if you are struggling in

that area due to fibro fog, then the two of you have to come up with

another way to handle the finances so that they don't get goofed up

again, that's all.

I know for myself, I literally write down all our bills on a spiral

page and the due dates are beside them and on the top of the page are

the pay days (his) and my LTD and then I cross off stuff as it gets

paid. If the front of the page gets messy (and my mind can't handle

it), I flip and use the back page, showing " June 08 revised " as an

example. It may not work for everyone, but for me it does. So far, so

good - nothing behind or forgotten about and no bounced checks!
