Guest guest
Debi - The lidocaine drip replaces the need for having to have frequent full-body infusions...They had been helpful for me although their effect wore off with 48 hours. The drip, before we had to turn it off (hopefully only temporarily), reduced the pain level in my arm and leg. I am also on ketamine....by mouth, not by infusion or drip. While it hasn't seemed to actually lower the pain. ot end up feeling more separate from the pain....if that makes sense. I too have been the SCS route and had to stop using it for similar reasons to what you described. Thanks for your support, Debi. We all have to hang in there. NO ONE HAS SUGGESTED THAT OR KETIMINE TO ME ONLY THE MORPHINE PUMP IN WHICH IAM AFRAID TO DO. I HAD A SCS IN FOR 2 YRS AND IT DIDN'T HELP ME. SO I REQUESTED THEY TAKE IT OUT. IT WOULD TURN ON AND OFF AT WILL. LOLROKF IMAGINE BEING OUT AND THAT THING COMING ON FULL BLAST! WHAT A SCREECH I MADE AND I DIDN'T HAVE THE MAGNET TO TURN IT OFF. LOL WELL WHAT A JOLT!!! THAT WAS. BARB IAM SORRY FOR YOUR PROBLEMS. AND YOU ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE THE RIGHT ATTITUDE AND HAVE HELPED ME AND A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THIS GROUP. YOU JUST ALWAYS KNOW THE RIGHT THING TO SAY. YOU ARE BLESSES. Guest guest
No results yet! They say it takes several days to get results of the spinal tap. The nurse said he was also testing for 10 other things but didn't know what they were. It could be anything and I know you aren't suppose to worry about anything until you know for sure but gosh...I am worried. I have had so many health problems since last June. I already know I have severe depression, anxiety, panic disorder, several herniated disc, high blood pressure, obesity(which I didn't have before I became ill) chronic headaches and Fibromyalgia. Those alone have filled my plate. I don't want my plate to overflow, I would prefer that my cup runneth over!!!! I am just scared and worried and that doesn't help any of my conditions.
