Guest guest
Hi, um well Cassandra. I understand about not wanting the Cpap and all. But if you do have sleep apnea, and it sounds like maybe a bad case, you will be hurting your heart. Do you have heart problems? I am lucky enough that my heart is still healthy. Heart disease runs in my family. So I was doubly worried. My mom had 2 heart attacks and never new it till the doc told her. One was 7 years ago and the other was about 3. Silent ones run in the family also. Back to the Cpap. Sleep apnea can cause an enlarged heart if not taken care of. Plus it does seem to let up on the FM pain. I confess that my first week, with the Cpap machine, I layed next to it but didn't use it. It was finally with a heavy sigh and determination to try and get well, that I finally started to use it. Sorry to hear about your voice on top of everything else. I too like to sing. (My only 2 fans being the grandchildren.)My kids would probably like it if I lost my voice once in a while. Ha! In any case I'd give some more thought to having the sleep study. Hey maybe you won't need anything. Good luck, Jan > > I snore, thrash, talk, walk all in my sleep. > I also have GERD- severe enough that I have had > several episodes of loosing the ability to speak for up to a week, due to acid reflux intomy > vocal tract.
