Guest guest
Hey all, I had 2 shrink appts. today and I'm just drained. Note to self; never do that again. I'm upping my Lyrica again starting today also. I told the doc if I could just get a break from the pain for a while, even if it meant knock me out only at bedtime; I'd be ever so grateful. So we'll see if these increases are going to do the trick. I haven't heard back on the Topomax and Lyrica issue yet from my doctor. But I've got some time to get the other three increased anyway before I would add that. Got my business stuff done for today. I'm just drained and feel 'raw'... one of the Lupus ladies passed away and she's the 3rd in that group that I've known. She was such a great lady and the one I knew the best out of the three; so its tragic, saddening, and frightening all at the same time. Fortunately, mortality is not something Fibro brings along with it. OK so I'm caught up on emails but not functioning on all cylinders. I'm so sorry you didn't get any kind of pain relief. You know I've notice a lot of information surfacing on people that resort to street drugs and alcohol for relief. So many of the homeless drug addicts have chronic pain they are combating it's frightening. This resistence to give people pain meds isn't HELPING the illegal drug problem; it's CREATING a great deal of it. I think the majority of people with Rx's are not off selling them on the street; they have them because they need them. Chances are half the ones selling them are only doing so because our disability systems are so screwed up that they are desperate for the money. OK I went off on a tangent there. I just don't understand why its so difficult to get some pain relief; even sporatically; especially when its available!!!
