A BIG WELCOME to the group girl. I am glad you found us too. It seems that

only someone that lives with this illness can truly understand what it is like.

We can talk til we are blue in the face to people that don't have it, and they

cannot grasp it even if they want to. (alot of them don't even want to

understand).

You have a great job! But it must get stressful with all those little children.

It takes a special person to do that job. I know.... I have a little boy about

to turn 6. He is a HANDFUL. I cannot imagine a room full of kindergarten kids.

LOL.

I think most of us had fibro for a while before we were diagnosed or even knew

we had anything wrong. Mine started so subtle in my 20's and I did not even

pay attention to it until I hit about 39 and it decided to hit me full force and

take me down.

The Salonpas patches are a good product. They are also very inexpensive. Hope

they help you.

I am 44, live in East Tx, have two children ages 6 and 11 and work full time as

a registered nurse. (very difficult to keep working).

Hi! I'm new to your group. I'm 38 years old, been married for 12

years and am the mom of 1. I'm a kindergarten teacher's assistant and

I LOVE my job! The kids make it so worthwhile. I've had fibromyalgia

for over three years, but was just diagnosed in December of '07. They

have tried me on so many different meds and for now I'm on Lyrica

(75mg/3x a day) and darvocet as needed. Your threads have been so

interesting! I am a diet soda-aholic! Lol... I drink at least 5 or 6

bottles a day. I'm going to try and substitute other beverages for

awhile to see how I feel. I'm also anxious to go to Wal-Mart and find

those patches! Take care and thanks again!
