Mine can't be put under my tongue and have it disolve either. I have a friend who does that with Xanax and gave me one when I had my very first true panic attack on an airplane going cross country. It worked quickly like you are talking about. Thank God he had it. I wasn't taking anything then. I don't know why the difference with the Clonazepam. I take the generic too.
