Guest guest
Chiarians, I could sure use your help. For years, I've had Myoclonus (Body Jerking) and thought just recently that it could be seizures. The EEG said I didn't. So my neurologist says it's derived from my neck and spine. But I'm not sure if it's from Chiari or MS or both. Last night, I put my neck down and it brought on the body jerks. I quickly raised my neck. But it freaked me out. And I know that if I'm sitting in a certain position, especially if there's nothing in back of me, it will bring on the Myoclonus. Then the rest of the time where I get the jerking out of nowhere all day long. Is this just me or do you all have it too? This morning, I woke up with the most painful stiff neck. My head was hurting as bad as my neck. What does everyone else do for this problem? Are muscle relaxants helpful? I'm slabbed up with Ben Gay right now, but it never really helps much. Any imput is appreciated. :-) Thanks and have a good weekend.
