Guest guest Posted May 2, 2008 Report Share Posted May 2, 2008 Okay, thought of a topic we could all relate to, especially those of us who are on the SSD merry-go-round waiting for either decisions or hearings. So here goes - say you " win " and get a settlement and get started on the SSD, after any back payments to LTD providers and attorney's fees were paid, what would you spend the rest on? My list is as follows: 1. New bedroom suite - already picked out....envelope started 2. Temperpedic mattresses - I enjoy the memory foam *but* want the whole bed 3. Add to the money market account 4. Add to the Christmas and vacation envelopes 5. Take my family out to a nice dinner and maybe a movie 6. Have a date night with my DH 7. Put the rest toward our debt snowball So what would you do? I know lots of us have back bills to pay and those are the obvious things we would likely let it go toward, but this is supposed to be " fun " things or things you've put off getting.
