Guest guest
Cassandra, I had a Dr. that said he was going to diagnos me by " process of elimination " . Well he took blood tests for arthritis and they came back negative, I don't have arthritis but he was more than happy to give me a medicine for arthritis that causes a film to grow over my eyes and I have to have an eye exam every 6-12 months. Needless to say, that prescription is still at the pharmace, I never went and picked it up. Why take something for something I don't have? That is just stupid. Like you said, they don't want to take the time to find out what is wrong with us. I went to a Dr. for over 6 months and within the first 2 months I brought up the idea of fibro and he dismissed it for 4 more months, then my family Dr. sent me to another Dr. Come to find out a friend of mine is seeing this same Dr. and he diagnosed her with fibro within the first month that she has been seeing him. I couldn't figure out why he would diagnos her so quick and put me through every test under the sun and never diagnos me. It just kind of made me a bit mad. I know how you are feeling. I am starting to get the pain from the weather change. We are supposed to get the thunder storms starting tonight so my body is telling me how close they are getting to us. The tops of my feet are so tender right now that it hurts so bad to wear socks. I have slippers that are like flip flops and they are really lightweight so that is what I am wearing if I have to go outside. My pain is getting worse and worse, that's how I know how close the storm is. So I know how you feel. Hope you get to feeling better. Take care, > > Hey everyone- I " googled " --( " conditions mimick fibromyalgia " ) and heres what I found. > Polymyalgia Rheumatica > Myositis or Myopathies > Neuropathies > Multiple Sclerosis > Myasthenia Gravis > Spondylaropathies (?Whats that?) > Hypermobility disorders > Endocrine disorders > Hypothyroid and Hypothyroid > Diabetes > Hypoglycemia > Parathroid disorders > Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Syndrome > Hepatitis > Epstein-Barr virus > Parvo virus (Seriously.
