hello all!

I have been on Cymbalta for about 2 years primarily for my fibro pain.

It was a godsend most days, except for the fact that it made me gain

20 lbs. I have started seeing a new psych doc for my med management

and she checked my blood pressure in her office. It was like 145 over

95, so she told me to monitor my blood pressure three times a day for

two weeks; she also said to call her sooner than my next appt. if my

blood pressure was always high. Well the lowest it has been is 134

over 103. I am getting upset about this, because I don't feel

comfortable stopping the only thing that has kept me from hurting so

bad. My psych doc also wants to treat me for my adhd, but I cant take

the meds with a high blood pressure. i desperately wanted to get out

of this extreme fog I've been living in. oh poop. i guess i will

call my pcp and my psych doc on Monday, and get an appt with my pcp to

check if I have hypertension. my psych doc wants to do a sleep study

ASAP to see if i have sleep apnea too. i want to get better, but its

depressing to have so much going on at the same time-- the fibro, MPS,

IBS, diverticulitis, bladder problems, bowel problems, heart area

pains, gerd, arthritis, bipolar, adhd, the list goes on and on and Im

only 33... Anyway has anyone else had the high blood pressure from

taking cymbalta, along with severe weight gain?

Loretta
