Im so glad to see you posting again Ginny. Its been a rough haul for

you and your health and welfare have been a major concern. I wish

that I had a twin of me that could take care of all the personal

parts of my life that arent being eaten by WC's desire to have me

working...but that being said its good to know that others are

checking on you too but I wish that your dr could get a handle on it

and get you feeling better quickly..enough is enough!

Being a blessing? Hon, Im just little ol' me...this is who you signed

on to when you and I became friends (wink) I just wish I could do

more to help you. In the meantime, know you are in my thoughts always

hoping you get plenty of rest, get enough nutrients into you and that

the painful flare will soon come to an end. Nobody should be this

miserable especially for this long. I care too much to see you this

miserable.

Love ya

Hugs

We'll keep her in our thoughts and prayers.

I just wanted to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers. My grandmother is the same...she is not better..but thankfully she is also no worse. I have told her that all of you are praying for her and she wanted me to tall you all she really appreciates it. She also wanted me to thank you for all of the nice condolences you sent on the guest book...she really loved reading them all. She was so touched that so many of you posted. Hope you all with this blizzard will not have too much snow to shovel and that spring comes soon....Hugs..Ginny

Hello!!

Did your doctor say the heartbeat looked fine? Sometimes the yolk

sacs are hard to see at 6 weeks. I know this week is so hard - I

just went through it. The one thing I can tell you is that spotting

is very common, especially with a SU. Hang in there!!

Priya,

Wow… good luck with everything! I think one of the reasons the doctors are

not giving you definitive answers is because they probably don’t know. A

lot of the test that they do to tell you whether or not you have a su or uu

usually involve being in your uterus. If you have a baby growing in there

then it is best they stay out! I hope the best for you and hopefully after

this baby is healthy you can figure out what is going on with your uterus!

My advise to you would be to make sure you have a good doctor who can

monitor you closely and make sure you are taken care of!

Good luck,

Nickey

Subject: Hi All

Dear All,

I'm Priya. I joined this group yesterday, when I felt extremely dull

and dejected. But, being in this group and reading the mails and

seeing the support offered means a lot of me. It took away the

loneliness that I was experiencing for about a week. Thank you all.

I just tested positive for pregnancy about two weeks back and then had

an episode of bleeding last week, for which I was admitted into the

ER. During the US, they detected a possibility of a septate uterus,

but its not sure though. I did not know that I had this condition

before the ultrasound. Had another bleeding two days after that and

had an US with a OB/GYN. He is saying that he is not seeing a regular

yolk-sac and he wants to do another US next week. He did see something

similar to a septum in the US. He did not talk much about it. when I

asked questions about it, he did not give much information about it

either. The uncertainity of things are driving me crazy and am so

thankful that I found this group. Am having some spotting everyday and

donno if thats ok.

This is my first pregnancy. Fortunately, my husband is being very

supportive and we are keeping our fingers crossed and praying. Am

looking forward to the next US, when I can get some more information

regarding my condition. As of now, I think I might have either a

sepate or a bicornuate uterus.

It gives me hope, reading the mails here, that one day I have a chance

of holding my baby in my arms.

Priya

Hi Priya,

I just wanted to give you a virtual

hug and some encouragement!

I'm sure that the waiting for answers

is really aggrivating. Do your best

to relax & put your feet up. (don't

do a heap of internet research!!)

I had a successful pregnancy with a

septum intact. I had it removed this

past summer & I'm now fortunate to be

pregnant with #2.

Keep us posted and let us know how

you are! There is hope!

Great news on the job . I'm sure Katelynn will adjust in time,

everything is still quite new and I'm sure she just needs time to process

everything.

Sorry that we have not been around for a few days. We brought Elijah

home this past Monday and we have been swamped with getting everything

set up. He is doing fine but the lack of swallowing is still causing

him some complications. I want to thank all of you for your kind

words and support. We are going to make it I just know it.

Thanks again,

Congrats on Elijah comming home. I remember how hectic it was when we first

brought home, we too had feeding issues but ours was from a cleft lip and

pallate.

Good luck and welcome to the family,

Yes you WILL make it! Things were hectic for us when we got her home but SO

MUCH BETTER than being in the hospital. She really seemed to take off once

we got home developmentally. She was happy to be home, too!

So happy to hear of Elijah coming home. Remember to stop every so

often and just breath deeply. Drink him in with your eyes and hearts.

I remember how overwhelming it was to finally have

Vinny home after 3+ months in the NICU. We had

medical equipment everywhere! Most stressful to us

was his medication schedule. He was on 9 different

meds (many for his heart) and was also on IV

antibiotics at that time. Once we acknowledged the

fact that we were completely frazzled, overwhelmed,

and at the same time delighted to have Vinny home, we

wrote out a schedule for what needed to be done and

when. I actually set a timer to remind myself of med

times. It worked... for the most part!

Over time, the craziness settles and you'll be able to

get into a new routine. While it was probably not the

routine you had ever imagined or planned, you'll

figure it out and begin your new life with precious

Elijah.

stops moving) and Vinny (an almost 2 year old with

cHARgE who is beginning to catch up with his big

brother!) and wife to
