Guest guest Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 yea!!! tim used to ride and loved it--looking into doing it agian. he has " practice " for special olympics today--softball throw, 50 yd dash and 100yd walk it is may 6-- let me know when the horse show is at penn state maybe we will try to come. is that in philly? CHARGE: Re: in Special Olympics Hi, had his county competition for horseback riding in Special Olympics today. He rides independently and does walk/trot classes. He showed in showmanship, equitation, trail, barrels. He got 1 gold and 2 silver medals. There were about 17 kids/young adults riding today and they all had such a good time. All the ones who got gold medals had their names picked from a hat for state competition. is very happy because his name was picked. He will be going to Penn State for 4 days of competition in June. It was something to see how all the kids rooted and congradulated each other for doing well. I also went to my usual, Saturdays Special Olympics Bowling too! I go with 1 of my friends too, I'm in a dfferent team, sometime I'm with my friend's team or sometime with my other friend's team too! I also got some medals from karate tournaments too! I could bring it over to the Charge Conference to show it to you guys, cool huh? Hey , I got an email from GameStop and/or UPS Delievery, that the Pokemon Diamond game which I ordered, is gonna arrive at my house on Wednesday! Woo-Hoo! I'm glad and happy that you won thosse medals, good for you buddy! If only I wasen't afraid of heights, and not intimated by horses and other large animals, then I would of also partcipate in horse back riding too! Thanks, take care!
