Guest guest
A while back I had aldosterone tested. It was 16 (4-31) However, at the time I didn't know I had to take it at a certain time. It was mid-cycle, and I only stopped sublingual progesterone for 24 hours. I fasted food in general for 12 hours but not sure about salt. So, under the circumstances, my aldosterone should've been at its highest and 16 doesn't look great anyway, does it? It was an expensive test and I really don't want to be off progesterone for a month. Can I test renin w/o being off progesterone? Does it need to be done during first week of cycle? says 99% of hypoP. have low renin so I want to test that. Thank you, Crystal
