Guest guest
How you doinn Val! It's researchin. I feel great these days. I'm glad I worked up to 10mg HC way back when (roughly july-august'ish?). I can eat whatever now, but try to stick to healthy foods. the other day I forgot to dose my second 5mg of cortef. I've never raised to 20mg or so because my doc is tight with it and I didn't want to sit out with nothing after having trying 20. It felt so good continuing it and I felt I needed it as I was healing better and better each month, but recently I've hit a stand still in terms of healing. So, here I am, roughly 6 months later.. after I forgot my second dose, this happened: -Heart beat/minute dropped 50% - 90s to 60s -Testosterone seems up -Morning wood back(haven't seen this in years, if not ever, I've had a " morning erection " 2 days in a row now, which is amazing and is supposedly supposed to happen every day) -Sleeping better, need to sleep less -Feel more aggressive(testosterone), but with no side effect, no worries or plotting or anger -Less stressed -More focused, clear in the mind, less hyper -ORAL THRUSH DOWN 99% more than usual, almost gone -Had a recent diet change to: High curry, basmati rice, chicken, beef sometimes, no pork, lots of nuts & almonds, ton of fruits. this could be a factor. I've always had a fast heart beat since starting armour. This is the first time it's gone to the 60s. I forgot that second dose on Friday, ...did 5mg total friday, 7.5mg saturday, 7.5mg today. I'm going to wean down to 5mg fully soon(any day now). I'm really happy with the dropped heart rate, my doc was freaking out over it being so high and me being hyper. Do you think the heart dropped because I'm not absorbing armour now? but, if I'm not absorbing, why such a drop? I didn't do HC until months into the armour pills. I was probably on 1.5grains before I even touched the HC once. There are quite a few things here though that don't make sense, such as testosterone being up. It's as if I'm freed of some sort of shackles. Was my DHEA maybe low then? Suppressed by my cortef? I'm unsure. Perhaps I was even doing a bad thing by staying at only 10mg cortef, which was only enough to suppress, maybe even fully the ACTH, but not enough buffer room to provide extra cortisol. As for tips on reducing cortef without hitting 's, after 6 months near-suppression, this guy Borkin claims Pregnenolone will help me out?: http://www.nceer.com/module1_webpages/nceer_module1_slide120.htm
Guest guest
The heart rat e could have droppe dform not absornign Armoru or it could be you have had some healing going on and you really donlt need the HC any longer. I would hold at the lower dos efor at least a couple weeks and see how it goes. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
awesome, thanks the reason I felt I ruled out the heart beat drop due to malabsorption from low cortisol was that I went up to 1.5 grains armour without lowering heart beat, with NO cortisol and stage5 adrenal fatigue. perhaps the armour even cause the stage5. we'll see what's up soon enough I guess in a few weeks. how you been doing Val since we've spoke on STTM? > > The heart rat e could have droppe dform not absornign Armoru or it could > be you have had some healing going on and you really donlt need the HC > any longer.
