Guest guest
Hello everyone. My son walks using a walker. He is 3 and has been enrolled in school. See you all at the conference in few months. All the info is below. Thank you. Ania. A committee of parents, of which I am a part, has joined together to raise funds for a fully accessible playground to be installed at B. Cary Elementary School in the city of Richmond, Virginia. This playground is essential to improve the quality of life and education for all children in our community. We have applied to Hamburger Helper's Hometown Helper program for $15,000 toward the anticipated $250,000 needed to build the playground. To support this project at no cost to yourself, please do the following: Go to: http://www.hamburgerhelper.com/ select " Find A Project " select " Virginia " and type or paste: B. Cary Click search Click on the resulting: B. Cary Fully Accessible Playground Project Please express your support! You need to enter your name, e-mail address, date of birth, and click the " I agree " box for terms and conditions, then you can enter your statement of support. For example, " I strongly support the B. Cary Fully Accessible Playground Project, which will make it possible for all children to actively participate regardless of ability. " Or whatever! The site promises that your contact information will not be saved, used, or shared. They just need a way of determining how many people want this project funded. Please pass this on! And if you are interested in supporting the B. Cary Fully Accessible Playground Project directly, checks can be mailed to: J.B. Cary Elementary School PTA Memo: Playground Phone: . Donations are tax deductible and may be eligible for recognition via tiles, web site, signage, etc. I'm happy to answer questions, and-- Thank you for your support! Guest guest
FYI, My college fraternity (Pi Kappa Phi) did a lot of these types of projects around the country and current undergrads still continue to do them. I remember giving up a Spring Break to work at a camp in Georgia and others went to Texas the following year. Therefore, if you are looking for labor for these projects, you might be able to find them at a local university, a lot of fraternities are usually looking for ways they can contribute to the community. You can also contact the national office at: http://www.pushamerica.org/ > > Hello everyone. > My son walks using a walker. He is 3 and has been enrolled in > school.
