Guest guest
How are you determining a virus reactivation? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I just had an EBV test which shows reactivation plus have had a cold soar (Herpes 1) that I haven't had in a long time. > > How are you determining a virus reactivation? > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV >
Guest guest
I would think these BOTH are from low cortils not treating it wiht the very low dose you are taking. EBV is a nasty little virus thta cna reactivate anytime your body is stressed. I have had it come back last winter myself. But I knwo little baout the Herpes type viruses. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
As usual I'm confused. Why did neither one of these little gems show reactivation BEFORE I did any isocort of HC? The cold sore just started as I did the switch from Isocort to HC. I'm working my way up the the 20HC. > I would think these BOTH are from low cortils not treating it wiht the > very low dose you are taking. Guest guest
How mich Isocort were you on and did you switch to an equak amount of HC? If oyu went ot 8pellets of Isocort then started ramping HC from lower than 15mg you took a dip in cortisl probably. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Gosh, you're so smart. Didn't think of that of course but I don't think that happened. I was doing the following isocort 2 pellets-1 pellet-1/2 pellet. I'm now working on a switch over replacing 1 pellet for 2.5HC. Like on the first day of switching it was 1 pellet with 2.5HC-1 pellet-1/2 pellet. Did that for 3 days then onto 1 pellet with 2.5HC-2.5HC-1/2 pellet for two days and now I'm on the second day of 1 pellet with 2.5HC-2.5HC-2.5HC. One more day of that and then it 5-2.5-2.5 of HC. If anything I'm getting more HC, right? > > How mich Isocort were you on and did you switch to an equak amount of > HC? Guest guest
Yes you should be but in the process somwetimes the ATCH is supressed a bit more tha it was and until you get to a proper dose of HC it cna make you go low in cortils later in the day, I had troubel wiht this a couole times until I got my HC dosing stabiolized. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
It's strange that you say it can make you go low in cortisol later in the day because yesterday was the first day I took 2.5HC instead of 1/2 pellet at 3pm and by 9 or 10 I was extra tired. Usually 10-11 is when I become alive a little. > > Yes you should be but in the process somwetimes the ATCH is supressed a > bit more tha it was and until you get to a proper dose of HC it cna > make you go low in cortils later in the day, I had troubel wiht this a > couole times until I got my HC dosing stabiolized. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV >
Guest guest
Herpes Simplex can activate from stress and from a diet high in arginine and low in lysine. Herpes loves arginine and is suppressed by lysine. My husband takes supplemental lysine daily, and takes more when he eats a lot of high arginine foods. sol wrote: > I would think these BOTH are from low cortils not treating it wiht the > very low dose you are taking.
