Guest guest
Ellen, There are times that the best thing to say is nothing, just be there. You can only talk about things you know, has facial palsy.. the only info I know of G-tubes and feeding that way is from my father.. he had a stroke and for the last three years of his life was fed by G-tube due to the stroke affecting his swallowing. I can talk about deaf/ blind issues only because I used to work with deaf/blind kids at a state school when I lived in Texas. Most times we parents are not only looking for info from people that have been there. I know having a mildly affected CHARGER, I can only offer a sympathetic ear, and as a parent there are times I just want to have someone to listen, not know what I need, what I could do, but be there and let me 'blow off'. Sometimes just being able to say it and have someone listen, whether or not they have an answer or know what to do is a relief and lessens the burden. Not that I am saying you guys are burdens but sometimes we parents are overwhelmed. Kinda like when you were in school and some creepy kid pestered you and just telling someone that the lil kid was a creep and whom you told said " That kid is a creep! " just makes you feel better. Sooooooo.... just keep being you.. because you are special.. not to just me but everyone who has any contact with you. Youn have changed anyones life who has ever known you, whether or not they know it.. Love ya, Case ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____Looking for a deal? Find great prices on flights and hotels with Yahoo!
