Bu the is not giving you any more thyroid. By cutting the Synthroid he

is lowering what is available to convert to T3 as well. Cant; you talk

him into Armoru? It is a MUCH better thyroid med than the combo. If oyu

do ths dosiong I woulds take the 12.5mcg T3 around noon.

But it will be a little bit more thyroid, won't it? I thought that T3 was

something like 4x the

strength of T4, so with the dosage going from T4: 50mcg / T3: 25mcg to the new

dosage

of T4: 50mcg 3x week / T3: 37.5mcg, won't that be like adding 3 days of 50mcg

T4?

I'm trying to work up the courage to ask for Armour. I like this doctor because

I can

usually talk him into doing stuff, and he is treating my adrenals, but he does

get really

hung up on TSH and Synthroid.

The T3 in synthetic T3 is weaker than the T3 in Armour. Hard to explani

andI do nto knwo why but I certainly knwo it is a fact, I van take

100MCG synthetic T3 and barely feel it where the 27mcg in 3 grains of

Armoru I feel easily.
