Guest guest
Hi, all: I've put off writing this as long as possible. I still haven't bounced back completely from my congestive heart failure episode, though I am decidedly better. I don't remember whether I posted this or not, but I go for more testing on July 15 and see my cardiologist on the 17th to discuss whether or not he thinks I need surgery. If he says yes, then it's off to lord knows where for at least one additional opinion. I do not see how Andy and I can plan to attend in California - which in itself makes me downright ill. I've planned for weeks to email n and Meg to see if there's any way that we can register that late ( i.e., after my test results) but I haven't done so --- plan to do it tonight just in case I get an all-clear in July. I want to meet you all - hug a bunch of you - and just get away - but I must do whatever is needed here first. In case we don't make it, please add an extra dose of fun and togetherness from us. With hugs all around --- Martha

Guest guest
Martha, I am glad you are decidedly better. Somehow I missed the discussion of congestive heart failure I think. I hope you are ready to travel in July and that you can come to the conference. There are such excellent specialists in Los Angeles, and of course in Northern California at Stanford, so if you need a second opinion, perhaps this may be a good place to be. May all goodness and health and peace be with you! conference: Andy, Martha, and Hi, all: I've put off writing this as long as possible. Guest guest
Martha, I only hop on this list every now and then. I am so sorry I missed that you suffered congestive heart failure. You must have been and still are a bit scared. I hope you know I will be keeping you in my prayers. You are such a kind and special person who only good things should come you way. I am sure it will work out fine. You know it is just way too important for you to take care of yourself. Getting in touch with n is great but know it's not the end of the world if you don't attend. Sure you'll be missed but the conferences will continue to go on. You'll just have to come to the next one. Being older I realize now 2 years comes more quickly than imagined. I wish you all the love and hope a person can have. Hugs to you. Bonnie, Mom to Kris 24, Patty CHARGE 22, and wife to ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com. Guest guest
Martha I'm way behind with posts so I have missed your heart problem. I hope you do get to the conference I have wanted to meet you and Andy. Still that's being selfish your health is most important and Bonnie has the right attitude there's 2 years time. Guest guest
Martha, I can relate to where you are at this moment. Just keep in mind that there are many things that can be done with medicine and or surgery. Having gone through open heart and looking at another go at it in the not to far future I have to tell you the waiting for answers was the worst part for me. Once you know what's going to be done than you just prepare yourself. The worst part of my surgery was just the weakness but that goes away within a couple of weeks. I even went out for breakfast 2 days after coming home from the hospital. I hope that you will get better news from the doctors and be able to attend the conference. I will keep you in my prayers. mom to 31 > > Hi, all: > I've put off writing this as long as possible.
