Guest guest
I don't know the answer to that, but I do have a symptom of low aldosterone. I call it a " pee spree " , but I guess technically, it's sodium wasting or polyuria. It makes me very dehydrated, as I cannot retain the water I drink. It happens in a symptom cluster of neck spasms / headache / hypoglycemia / polyuria and lays me low for a day or two, usually during my monthly hormone shifts. I'm curious what your low aldosterone symptoms are. I've been trying to raise my morning cortisol by taking Isocort, but so far (4 days now, 2 pellets at 7:15 a.m.), it's had no effect on my low morning energy. But when I take dessicated adrenal (Standard Process), I perk up. > > Does anybody know if Low Aldosterone and Low Cortisol share/overlap > symptoms? How can I test, or what tests do I ask for to my doc? To convince him to give me Florinef? Thanks
Guest guest
You would ask for Aldosterone testing to test for low aldosterone which is what Flroinef replaces. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
