It sould also depend on the time between brushing her teeth and filling the

tube. Sounds like it was a pretty immediate thing though. I'd call the lab

though.

It was right after - I woke her up to do the testing and thought that

she would come right down. I didn't realize that she was brushing her

teeth. There is no reagent in the tubes except for the FT3 tube.

We're continuing the rest of the day's collection today (she has no

time during the day for it at work) and re-doing just the 8AM

collection tomorrow. I'll call the lab before sending them in.

hmmm, I brushed my teeth before I did the morning cortisol, I didn't

know I wasn't supposed to, toothpaste also had mouthwash in it. How

does this affect the cortisol levels? My morning one was pretty high.

It was 18 (range 13-24 nM).
