Guest guest
Hi Val, thanks for this link. what do you think of what Shomon says about cipro and other antibiotics? better just to avoid these? Are these drugs related to fluoride at all? And if you have to take the antibiotic for a lengthy period, you should discuss the potential impact on your thyroid with your doctor, and possibly request period thyroid testing to ensure that your thyroid treatment is not affected. Note: Interestingly, there are also anecdotal reports -- including my own -- of bad reactions to other fluoroquinolone antibiotics. Guest guest
While I would try to avoid these antibiotics in this class, if you have a serious infection that does not respond to OTHER gentler antibiotics I think you have to prioritize. I have taken Cipro when I had the bad upper respiratory infection last winter and needed it as the others were just not gettoing rid of it. So not as a first line I would not take them, but certainly if others have not worked. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
