Guest guest
What is he basing the hyperthyroid diagnosis on? Have you been taking your temps for an average? If so, what are they? Guest guest
My labs were too high. My free T4 was at the very top and my free T3 was about 200 points over the top of the range. I do not have any hyper symptoms and my temps hold steady around 97.2. I just sleep better this way. I do not know why. I cut my dosage to 3 grains, down from 3.75 grains. Yesterday I only took a tiny amount of armour during the day and saved up a big dose for bedtime and I was really cold but I finally went to sleep around midnight. I was freezing! I lay there and shivered in my bed under bunches of covers. After I got warm I went to sleep. If I do not take at least 1.5 grains at night I feel adrenaline rushing through and there is NO WAY I can go to sleep.
Guest guest
I believe you need T3 therapy. The high amounts of T3 you are taking is what you feel right away but when you are taking all that T4 with it you are propagating more RT3 which blocks the action of T3 and thus you need the high levels. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I do not know if my doc is going to be able to help me with this one. Is there a way I can help myself? He is really not up on things like I wish he were.
Guest guest
Also, I am very cold today. My temps are down and I was nauseated and shaky this morning. I felt better after I ate something.
Guest guest
Didn't you say that you took your Armour the morning before the blood draw? If so that is why your results were so high. Guest guest
Yes, I did. I am a dummy! I was not thinking that morning. Val said that my T4 was also too high, though and that would not be affected by one dose that morning. Next time I will remember to NOT take my meds in the morning.
