I'm menopausal (12 yrs ago) and using progesterone cream only. I

take a one week break from it a month.

When should I test then? When I'm on it, or the week I'm off of

it.

My estrogen was low as well, but on the natural hormone group, they

tend to recommend not taking any form of estrogen, as they seen to

feel we live in a sea of estrogens.....meats, plastics, makeup, etc.

And I've read that the progesterone should be way higher than the

estrogen.

My gyn/ob is clueless, and this is YET ANOTHER area where I self

test and diagnose. But I'm not sure about what I'm doing.

What do you think?
