Guest guest
Ah mistakes!. Maybe stopping estrogen was the wrong choice for me too, though I didn't think so at the time. I was having headaches I attributed to it, still having hot flashes at even the highest possible dose, and mainly because I believed premarin is an unethical product. I also didn't like what I read about plant estrogen side effects in the PDR, so didn't want to take those either. So I didn't. sol wrote: >>> Why did you stop estrogen back then?<< >>> >>> Expense, didn;t want to find a new doc to prescribe when I moved, thought progesterone was covering my needs and I was old enough to not need it any more. Guest guest
Baseline serum labs then adjusting hormones slowly rechecking every few months as you go. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Val - So you recommend blood testing vs. saliva? If pre-menapausal, do the tests need to be done a certain time of the month, like for saliva? Guest guest
>>So you recommend blood testing vs. saliva?<< I think as baseline BEFORE any sex hormone repacment is started the slaivca is fine, but it is affected BADLY by exogenous sex hormones. Then the serum testing I feel is more accurate. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
