Guest guest
I'm afraid that by focusing (obsessing) on my thyroid/adrenal situation for a year now, that I have unfortunately neglected the 'sex hormones. " I do occasionally take progesterone cream (post menopausal) but was frightened by the estradiol cream. Now after reading some of the posts and Val's link to hormone restoration, I am rethinking going back on the estradiol. My labs...way back when,...were low in all three sex hormones, and I have bioidentical progest/estradiol and testosterone. Thing is, my DHEA is low as well. Should I take ALL OF IT....all three sex hormones AND DHEA, which is supposed to raise the sex hormones? I'm afraid of too much. Anyone really know a lot about this? Thanks for the help Naffy

DHEA has things it does BY ITSELF before converting to sex hrmones so I would want ALL of them at optimal levels. I will very soon be taking all of them. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Do you have a good doctor? I just posted this a minute ago: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/message/4661\ 2 In othet words I'm in the same pit with you Surprisingly, I'm not worried anymore, because I finally have a good doc who knows what she's doing, which means I don't have to figure everything out by myself anymore. I hope you'll find the help you need. Take care!
Guest guest
Even with a good doctor, I hope no one here will ever stop doing their homework, and checking up on everything the doctor says and prescribes. I'm completely afraid to leave my health in anyone else's hands anymore. I do this much for my animals, double checking on my own every bit of vet advice or Rx. Now I do it for myself as well. Thankfully, the internet has made it much easier to find resources and to check everything. sol ajapi79 wrote: > Do you have a good doctor? Guest guest
Gotcha. Am going to test again this week, and start up on all of them again. Thanks Naffy > > >>Thing is, my DHEA is low as well. My doc here in Finland is great, but she doesn't know a thing about these other hormones. She's just learned how to treat AF. Basically she would have listened, if I had been able to figure out what's wrong with me, what tests I need, and how to administer medication, but it's just more work than I can handle. Besides it's easy to go wrong without a good doc. That's why I'd rather fly to Belgium to see a good doc than figure everything out by myself. It's much easier to check, when you KNOW what you're looking for > > ajapi79 wrote: > > Do you have a good doctor?
