Hello Everyone,

I so enjoy lurking but I guess it is time for an e-mail!

Thursday the 5th Mac and I will pull out of our driveway and head for

a month vacation

(with a break for the conference!) without ! She will have

supported living at our home

and her regular day program at the Arc...which is going well!

This is a big step for us and a multitude of feelings keeping popping

up in my head and heart.

I was up three times last night and wrote even more " notes " for

everyone. The wall in her room is

a collage of her life. Her support staff is excellent and I am

trying to accept this as a GIFT and

yet I guess I have to go through all the feelings of this Passage as

well.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the conference-my first since

Boston!

Peace,

Jackie

Jackie,

I am looking forward to seeing you in California. I'm sure it must be a

HUGE step to leave her alone that long; I hope to get there someday. I hope

you can relax and enjoy yourselves - you deserve it!

Jackie-

This is a big step for everyone - but you'll all be better for having the

courage to do it! Enjoy your break and the special time with Mac.

I will be swimming in a lake in central ontario that weekend :) Of corce I

will see if my cell phone works up there, it should but who knows lol. Maby

there is a public internet access at the nearby town. I doubt though I could

get there, its a bit of a hike and I only know how to get there by boat as

the trail is a bit confusing lol. I look forward from hearing everyone about

the conference when I get back to my home. Still, I hope someone does text

message me about the location of the next conference lol! I am looking

forward to hear where it will be.
