Guest guest
I have two kinds of experiences. TAP had to show it, that is the first one. One time it was very very loud. The mike for my FM system was right on the speaker during the big boom. Everyone else jumped and plugged their ears and thought " WHAT THE HELL???? " Sorry for the language, but that is what everyone thought. Me, it hurt so loud I SCREAMED. 3 times. It hurt soooo bad. Worse, I was embarrassed and I told everyone that to me it was 100 decibels, not 60 or 70. Glad the last few TAPs were good. The other is my toes. A little bit of pressure HURTS A LOT!! If you see me stub my toe, it feels like it is on FIRE. It HURTS soo bad. Ugh. Have ENOUGH with pain. WIthout TAP, I am not in pain anymore. The other oopsies are when it is too loud for anyone. I was glad when it was movie theater loud. Oh, btw, if you want an idea of how much that hurt, imagine a microphone squealing behind a megaphone. Do you see the pain? That is what if felt like for me. For everyone else, a mike squealing. Talk to you all later Re: Night Parties Chantelle, The types of pain are processed through different pathways in the brain. The auditory one is very hard for the brain to block out or ignore - it just hurts. For people who are not sensitive to noise, they have no idea, but it HURTS and it triggers a stress response in the body that can make someone want to hit or kick or scream or tantrum to make it go away. If the others don't feel the pain, they can't understand why someone gets so out of control for what they see as so minor. Kim > > > > > > > Ohhh that is so true with me too.
