This is fascinating! Thank you for sending it.

The premise that retardation can be reversed is something I have often thought

of. Not that I know anything about the enzymes that are mentioned in the study,

but I have thought for many years that mental retardation is not a permanent

condition. I know my opinion is contradicted by most medical perspectives,

however. At least up until this study you posted.

To me it has always seemed that condtions such as autism, or retardation as

well, were impeding someone's learning but that the impedence could, in many

cases be removed. It's something that I feel very strongly about.

I am elated to read the research you posted that suggests at least one possible

way in which reversal of the conditions is possible. I am aware of others as

well.

Thanks for sending such interesting research findings to the list. I am

thrilled to read them.
