Guest guest
Your B-12 should be higher. You should get your ferritin retested also if possible to be sure where it is at. Low ferritin and b-12 can cause problems with people tolerating thyroid medicine if they aren't high enough. Have you had a 24 hour salivia test done for your cortisol? It can be hard to tell much from a one time blood test unless it is really out of range. If you have low cortisol then you may have problems tolerateing Armour. Without the proper amount of cortisolin your bloodstream, your body can't utilize the thyroid hormone in your bloodstream. Rie Hi Val, I want to start Armour on my own, I don't have a doctor to help me for my thyroid. Right now I take hem Iron, vitaminC, Celtic salt,Bcomplex and whole other vitamins for helping my adrenal but not cortef or isocort. my question is, can I start Armour now, I am 47 years old with with allot of bleeding because of my fibroids, is it ok if I start with Armour and how much can I take. These are my blood results from 6months ago before I start vitamins. I think my ferretin must be higher by now. My cortisol is from 3oclock in the afternoon. No virus found in this outgoing message. Guest guest
Cortisol 6.9 MCG/DL Morning: 6.0-19.0 MCG/DL Afternoon: 3.0-14.0 MCG/DL FERRITIN 21.4 {10.0-291.0] NG/ML Woth these two labs alone, I would not start Armour wihtout cortiosl. You really should get the 24 hour saliva cortisl testuing done. You can order your own from www.canaryclub.org bntu if that cortisll was draen between 7 and 9 am it si in the dirt. You r Ferritin is way too low as well and you should be on 150-200mg of elemental iron daily to help build thta as it wil also affect your ability to handle thyroid meds. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
