Guest guest
Yes. That they reversed a genetic mutation after it's materialization, and reversed the resultant effects-oh my. I'm estatic with hopefulness. Every time I read it, I get all happy. And, the fact that Duke is including Charge under that autism research umbrella means that if the government approves the requested grant for the $2.1 billion (I think that's the right figure-could be 1.2 billion), some of it is going to get spent on us. Keep the champagne chilled for the day they approve that! I don't run into much pubd. by MIT. I think I'll cruise through their genetics department and see what else they're working on. This kind of news will set the labs abuzz all over the world. We should see a rash of breakthroughs now that they've smashed this glass ceiling. I've also run into a couple of medical considerations that apply directly to most Chargers that I'll post soon. Most of what I'm finding, you've been posting to the list for years, but now I've found it in the medical journals as well. No doc we've seen has ever mentioned them, yet they're important to the kids overall health and well being, and should be brought up, primarily with endocrinology. Imagine how fatiguing it must be to be half way to a full-blown problem all the time, and as most of us parents of older Chargers try to stress=stress is a huge enemy in Charge, including physiological stress. Later, in Ma. Maybe Di and I should drive up to Cambridge and walks the halls of MIT till someone notices us. lol. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
