Guest guest
Could someone please interpret these labs for me? They were finally posted today and it looks nothing like the labs I see others post on here from Diagnos-Techs. There's also a note at the bottom of my lab results saying the following: Dear Provider, Until further notice we are discontinuing running Thyroid Saliva Hormone Testing: fT4, fT3, fTSH, and TPO. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this has caused you and your patients. We will be issuing refunds. If ordered as part of a Flexi Matrix, removing the 4 tests changes the pricing to the lower level 3-5 tests $79., 6-9 tests $109., 10-15 tests $149., 16-20 $199.00 etc. we will adjust price. If price bracket does not change you may order 4 individual tests (not panels) of your choice using this accession number as a resubmit. I pulled my back badly this morning and I'm doped up on Vicodin and Skelaxin and I feel myself getting dumber by the moment. My results have graphs on them so I can't really copy and paste them in here so I'll try to type in what I can. Estradiol 12 Postmenopause-No HRT: 1-4 pg/ml HRT Target Range: 5-13 pg/ml Follicular: 5-13 pg/ml Luteal: 7-20 pg/ml Progesterone 66 HRT Target Range: 100-300 pg/ml Follicular: 20-100 pg/ml Luteal: 65-500 pg/ml Free Testosterone 22 Elevated Borderline: 5-7 pg/ml Normal: 8-20 pg/ml Free Cortisol Rhythm 7-8am result 4 (depressed) ref range 13-24 11-noon result 6 (normal) ref range 5-10 4-5 result 3 (normal) ref range 3-8 11-midnight result 1 (normal) ref range 1-4 DHEA result 2 (depressed) ref range Adults (M/F): 3-10 ng/ml " Patient Result Interpretations Depressed morning cortisol, < 13 nM, is suggestive of marginal HPA performance. Normal rhythms exhibit highest cortisol value for the day at 7 - 8 AM. Morning cortisol augmentation, or 11 Beta HSD inhibitors, as in licorice, worth consideration. Minimal cortisol rhythm; cortisol augmentation and anabolic support suggested. "
