Do we not wait 3 mins now? I thought it wasn't reliable unless we waited 3

minutes in betwen BPs?

>>> take BP sitting then loosen the cuff stand up and immediately retake BP

while standing. It shouod rise if cortiosll levels are good. IF it drops

then it indicates low cortisol.

Hello Val, just read your Peatfield BP procedure. Mine was 155/93

then standing it is 131/90. I'm on HC cream l0 mg. or mcg. (1/4 tea.).

at 7:00, 7.5 at 11:00 and 5 at 2:00. I also increased T3 from 3.75

to 7.50 mcg. this afternoon. Could I be needing an HC increase?

Thank's for your help.

VAL, YOU WERE RIGHT ON ABOUT NEEDING MORE HC. WHEN I ADDED THE 2.5

MG AT BEDTIME, I EVEN FELT BETTER, AND STANDING BP WAS ALMOST 10

POINTS HIGHER WHEN IT HAD BEEN LOWER JUST THE DAY BEFORE. PROBABLY

THAT'S WHY I FELT PRETTY ROCKY INCREASING T3.

THANK'S

PAT

> BP should rise SOME mine usually is about 10 points on the systolic.

Re: Checking BP

A method used by Peatfield I knwo, and I also liek it, is to take BP

while sitting then loosen the cuff stand up and immediately retake BP

while standing. It shouod rise if cortiosll levels are good. IF it drops

then it indicates low cortisol.
