8.00 AM 15.6 ( 12 - 22)

12 Noon 10.1 (5.0 – 9.0 ) high

4.00 pm 1.8 (3.0 – 7.0 ) Low

Midnight 1.4 (1.0 - 3.0)

My interpretation is a bit fdifferent than theirs. You are in the swinging

cortilsl stages I was in for a coupe years. Hard to get out of but not

impossible, By swinging I mean your too low AM levels cause high ACTH which

overly raises the noon levels and that shuts your ACTH too low and so you go low

as a rebound effect at 4PM. Correction for this si to boost the AM levels to

stop the swing from starting. I would try a measly 5mg HC first thing in the AM

and then bombard yourself with the best vitamin support for the rest of the day

including 1/2 tsp sea salt twice a day and vitamin C and B vitamins and see how

you do on this, you can check progress by testing BPO in the AM abotu an hour

after the HC dose sitting to standing then again in the pm around 4PM to see if

that level is better then.

Thank you for your answer Val, I have two questions for you:

-Do I have to start with 5 mg of HC or do I have to follow the

instruction in STTM and start with 2.5 mg.

-Do I have to reduce or stop Armour? My T3 was over the range on 3 ½

of armour but now I am on 2 grains.

Val, another question: With the above do you mean that I take 5mg of

HC and stay at 5mg? (ie no increase to 20-30 mg ). If I

can take only 5 mg HC and feel better, it would be great, but I

thought that once you start on HC you always have to go up to at

least 20 mg otherwise your body senses the exogenous cortisol and

reduces it owns cortisol production so you go on having low cortisol

symptoms? Have you heard about people doing well on less than 20mg?

If I am remembering right, your labs doid not show that bad the rest of

the day. You may not need mroe than that. If you repost your lkabs I

will second that but I sure can;t remember them now, but I htink that

was my point.

Cortisol Levels

DHEA: Cortisol ratio 1.12 ( 1.0 – 4.0 )

And finally here are my 2 questions:

OK I think you MAY need only a bit in the AM. All you can do is to try

it. Your rythm is what is out of whack MORE than the amount of total

cortisol you are making for the day. Your cortisol burden (total for the

day)is 28.9 with a range of 21 to 41. This tells me you may only need

a TINY bit of HC but you do need to boost the AM levels to get the rest

of the day on a proper rythm. If 5mg in the AM does nto work for you

after abou a month then continue ot SLOW:Y ramp up but I do nto think

you will need even 20mg.
