testing adrenals after being on HC

I've been on HC for 6 months--my doc prescibed it for me based on

symtpoms and my begging him when I was at my wits end and about to

start grad school the next week---after 3 days I was a new person so

there is no doubt I had adrenal fatigue.

I wish I had done the saliva testing becasue I'd really like to know

what stage I was at etc. What are my options at this point? Is there

any point in doign the diagnostech saliva testing even though i'm on

HC? (25 mg) I recently had a serum cortisol in the a.m. before taking

my dose and it was just under the normal range. Will saliva testing

show me at least how my body is doing with the HC it's getting? And

it also adds the other hormones like DHEA so that would be good to

know. (BTW, my TSH went up after being on HC for 3 months, so i'm now

also taking 1 grain Armour)

Saliva testing while ON HC is totally unpredictable. I would not waste

the money.
