Guest guest
First you need to pay attention to WHEN ti is happening in relations to when you last ate, took HC or exactly what you are doing when it happens. somwtimes this takes some detective work. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Guest guest
It could be lower blood sugar / hypoglycemia. make sure you are eating every few hours (2-3 is best), with good protein in each meal and no refined carbs and sugar. It could also be anemia. Might have your ferritin levels checked.
Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, have had them checked and thought maybe that might be the reason but didn't see anyone else commenting on it either her or on NTH. My renin is very low (.46) and aldosterone lowish (10). I'm having it rechecked in the next couple of days because I understand HC can either make both worse or better, I believe. The renin is so low I also want to make sure it wasn't some kind of lab error. I will keep that in mind when thinking about the woozy thing. It's feels like what I would imagine being kind of drunk or having a buzz would feel like (never been drunk, so I'm not sure LOL). > > > > I have this off an on. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. Didn't think about anemia because although I was anemic in Nov I've been on iron ever since but who knows. Idiot doctor refuses to test ferritan says he get all the info he needs from CBC and that " you don't really want ferritan any higher than 22 " . Can you believe that one! I am hypoglycemic so thought about that as well. I've been hypog for many many years and am very aware of what that feels like. I also have have a blood glucose machine so I don't think that's it. I will double check on the ferritan. Will double check with one of my other doctors. > > It could be lower blood sugar / hypoglycemia. make sure you are eating > every few hours (2-3 is best), with good protein in each meal and no > refined carbs and sugar. > It could also be anemia. Guest guest
My aldosterone and renin are both low as well, how is you TSH is that low too? I have been told I may have a hypo-pit problem. having both low aldosterone and renin can be a sign for hypo-pituitary. sherie > > > > > > I have this off an on. Guest guest
No, my TSH isn't low (right now 3 something). My test are confusing because all hormones that would point to hypoP (other than aldosterone and renin) do not point to hypoP but I did have a number of blows to the head and whiplash before I was 20 and I believe I've had adrenals problems back to probably like 10 and with that super low renin who the heck knows. Since say people with low renin are 99% of the time hypoP I'm going with that. Stupid rat bastard doctor didn't want to do ACTH stim test and now it's to late. I could kill these doctors. > > > > > > > > I have this off an on. Some days I don't some I do and I can't > put my > > > > finger on what it could be. Guest guest
Oh dont get me started on the stupidity of doctors, I cant stand them and there holier than thou attitudes the all have. I have seen about seven doctors in around a nine month time frame, what a waste of time and money. what do these specialists do? because they sure dont take care of the people that come see them for help. I have a bill from some blood work I had done in jan 08 , for the aldosterone and renin, the ACTH stim, some thyroid tests and the sodium and potassium tests, and a few I forgot. the insurance has not paid anything on it yet , I might get stuck with it,...its for $1190.00:( If I treat myself and become my own health care provider, I would I believe get better care and it will be a lot less expensive. you are not the only one that has murder fantasies about there doctors, believe me;) I hate them too. they keep us sick and down so we keep coming back , so they and big pharma can keep making all that money off our misery and suffering. ok done ranting now, sherie > > > > > > > > > > I have this off an on. Guest guest
For me being dizzy is apparently a low cortisol symptom. It usually happens when I get really stressed out about something, but doesn't come along until the next day. I haven't had a dizzy spell since I've gotten my HC dosage up and have learned to stress dose when I need to. Rie Thanks for the suggestion.
