That is really odd labs I think I would take first dose at 10AM thne at

2PM and bedtime. I would suggest at least 5MG at bedtime which should

lower that AM a bit.

Val, Doctor gave me PS for evening and then Cortef morning ,afternoon

and evening. Reasoning? To lower morning Cortisol!!! Oh, my should I

try it?

Well taking MORE cortiso whne high in the morning does not make sense.

Many docs do nto understand the supression end of HC. That you can take

HC at bedtime ot lower AM cortils is a fact!

Im messing up my dosing...could you help. Doctor gave me 15mgs cortef,

an one dose of PS. I take PS in the evening, 5MG Cortef bedtime,

Nothing in the morning and about 10 am 5 mgs and then 2 pm , 5mgs.

I'm feeling knida funny, like waking up and feeling like I havwe a

really slow heart beat.

Who knows what happen here, I am under a great deal of stress.

Would you dose this way? Am I doing ok? Why the 5mg Cortef before

bed??? I feel like PS is slowing me down too much ?> Im not

sure ,though.

Check your BP in the morning foirst sitting then standing. If it drops

or doesn;t rise then you know the high AM cortils is gone. Then you need

to change the dosing appropriately.

My BP dropped when I stood up. How should I dose then? Should I

continue the PS?

Thsi means your high AM cortils is no longer there. and you need to adnust your

dosing acordingly. How much are you taking agian?

I have 15 mgs of cortef , it was three times a day, 4th dose was PS.

I would go to a nice even 5mg three times starting first thing inthe AM

and see how that feels. Check temp averages per www.drrind.com so you

can tell if thta is enough cortisl with your lower levels I suspect you

will need more . I would stop the PS at this point.

Should both the dyastolic and systolic both rise?
