The purpose of stress dosing is to get releif of low cortios aymptoms NOW not 3-5 hours from now. Guest guest Posted April 2, 2008 Report Share Posted April 2, 2008 Val, How would you suggest I stress dose on Cortisol SR? I am at 10 mg right now? All I have right now is the cream. I will be talking to my doctor on April 15. I am giving the Cortisol SR until then, If I can stand it that long and things settle down.
