Guest guest
> Your temdinitis could easily be the resulkt of your weak adrenals or low thyroid. Low cortiosl causes the htyroid to no t work properly in your body so you get many of the sympotms of low thyroid even with normal thyroid labs. > - My thyroid labs were TSH 0.307 (0.35 to 5.5) FT3 260 (230 to 420) FT4 1.2 (0.6 to 1.8) I am guessing that my TSH was suppressed because my adrenals were over-producing, and my T4 conversion to T3 was low because my DHEA was depleted. My DHEA to cortisol ratio/10,000 was 73. Would you agree with this reasoning? So I should feel better with the Armour thyroid? I may need more adrenal support because I clench my teeth at night (also because my skeletal alignment is off due to feet issues). Seems like there are many issues to address. Hard to know where to start. I appreciate the support here.

Hypothyroid you are and that can be the cause of MANY of your other health issues incuding weak adrenald and tendonitis and spional alignment problems. Clenching teeth at night can also be a hypo symptom! Yes I would say you need some Armour but with well supported adrenals first or your body will not utilize it properly. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

I believe I am low estrogen due to DHEA depletion. Well, I hope the adrenal glandular is enough support for now. How long will it take to know if it's not after I start the Armour? And what will my symptoms be? Thanks.

The things that are needed for conversion of T4 to T3 are selenium and cortisol and enzymes. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Well, I took the Armour this morning and I'm still here to write about it. Is Emergen-C any better than PERQUE buffered C ascorbate? I've been taking that to avoid constipation among other things. So flat feet could be due to low thyroid, low testosterone or low collagen? Maybe all three? Has anyone used a proline supplement with success? I do eat homemade bone broths and it hasn't helped. Would you suggest doing a saliva hormone test and doing HRT rather than supplementing DHEA, Val? I don't think my doctor does HRT or she might have suggested it. Here is the chart I mentioned about the body's preferred pathway under chronic stress, the " pregnenolone steal. " http://www.biodia.com/TechnicalCharts/SteroidalHormonechart.pdf> Thanks. Guest guest
Yes I ahve read about pregnenolone steakl many times, BUT replacing more pregnenolone does nto help this and oftern adding more DHEA makes matters worse. Getting the saliva cortiosl results is primary to knwo what to replace. If cortiosl is high, pregnenolone may help. But most of us do not barely notice symptoms when cortiso is high unless we are VERY hypothyroid as well. Most people nptice adrenal fatigue once the cortiosl levels have fallen when pregnenolone may be quite useless. Then you need ot replace the hormones you are low in and not the precursors as the proper conversins have broken down and are not working. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/

Possibly only Rhodiola and Ashwaganda. I would not even take Isocort for these labs unless you cannot tolerate thyroid. > But what about in terms of DHEA, or pregnenolone? PS. I had been taking a bovine adrenal glandular support for 9 days when the saliva test was done.
Guest guest
If DHEA is low then it would not hurt to take a small amount as 5MG. Pregnenolone only if you are low in it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
