Guest guest
How are you dosing your HC? Guest guest
I dose as 10/10/5/5 . I actually stopped getting panic attacks and bad anxiety when I went on effexor a few years ago. I finally got myself weaned off last month and thought I was in the clear until the other day. As much as I know effexor isnt the ultimate cure I may need to go back on it. I can live with the fatigue and depression but these anxiety pangs are just a nightmare to deal with. It doesnt help that my entire family and close friends all live 800 miles away,,plus Im always entriely alone on a midnight to 8 am shift 5 days a week. I just wish this could all get better soon > > How are you dosing your HC? Guest guest
What time of day did the panic attack occur? Especially in relation to your HC dosing? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
you know,,,Im not even sure if it was a panic attack or just more intense anxiety. I felt it right when I woke up last evening before my first dose and it actually seemed to carry over for an hour or so after my first 10 mg pill. I also felt very jittery yesterday morning when I got home from work which was about 2 hours after my 3rd hc dose which was 5 mg > > What time of day did the panic attack occur? Guest guest
OK I know you work nights but you say it started right before your first dose. Do you take this FIRST thing when you wake up? What ever the hour, this is important. Do you sleep in a completely darkened room? Thsi will help if you can manage some light blocking shades. Your body is fighting the unnatural rythm, and i do not know if there is tuly anythign to be done about htis but get a day job.. I know easier said than done! But do consider it for your health. I also siuspect you are hypoglycemic when you wake. I would eat a large high protein high fat snack before bed. You could also increase your bedtim dose a tiny bit or even trade it out for a longer acting 1 to 1.5mg Pred. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
yes,,I do take it within 5 minutes of waking up. I do get my room at least somewhat dark. dark enough to need to put my light on to read. I know working these mids arent good for me but the money is very good and I really havent much choice. this is a career job that I racked my brain through 4 yrs of college to attain so I need to stick with it. hopefully the hours wont last forever. I do notice I didnt feel as bad when I was working 4-mids so the sleep/wake cycle is probably impacting my recovery as you said > > OK I know you work nights but you say it started right before your first > dose. Guest guest
, I understand what you are saying about live with the fatigue and depression but not the anxiety. I also have anxiety and it just makes me crazy. I think it is the worst head game there is. I have just started addressing my adrenals, but found that my anxiety got better when I switched to Armour. I have sometimes found that walking will help. I feel for you and wish I had a wonderful answer. Hang in and know you are not alone. Diane B Re: not a good last couple days I dose as 10/10/5/5 . Guest guest
thanks diane. I actually just went off my armour as it wasnt helping and I thought it may have been that causing the anxiety pangs. Im going to see if my symptoms improve and then slowly try cytomel as my reverse t3 was high. it definitely helps knowing there's others on here in the same boat. most people without these problems just dont understand how awful it is > > > > How are you dosing your HC?
