Guest guest
Yes, what a pain-have to check off the little box on the script for the Cortef brand Yes, a slight difference was felt-I thought the generics did better, but could just be me, but I had to get back on the brand type-doctor insisted. Guest guest
Now I'm really confused, I assumed if anything that the generic would be worse.....I just don't know if I trust generics....I know with some hormones and other drugs that the generics are just not as good.... Thanks for input....I thought if they wrote a brand name, you got the brand name, and if they wrote the generic name, you got the generic....I know that last year when I asked for Armour and he refused and wanted me to take compounded Thyroid, I took it to the Walmart pharmacy and asked for the brand name Armour, they said he wrote it for Thyroid and that's what we have to give you....and they gave me another brand just called Thyroid.... Guest guest
I do nto trust all generics, but ther are some that do work as well as the name brands. I have taken three different generic HC brands and the name brand Cortef, For me there is little differnce but I do feel some subtle differences and in sensistive people there certainly can be changes from it. I would say to try it as you may be like me in that they all work fine. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thanks for the encouragement....I'm sure others on here understand that it was just something else for me to stress over....and I was doing a great job at it! LOL. Off to the cardiologist today for my chest pains, and I think it will give me some reassurance that everything is ok before I add the HC and start upping the Cytomel and Armour so I won't worry so bad if and when the palps occur....
