Guest guest
>> This seemed to be working until today when my temps so far have been 99.0 then 97.5. I have not taken my third temp for the day.<< How long at this dose? It looks to me liek a thyrid dump may be happening. That high a temp is not normal unless oyu have a fever. Guest guest
I have been on 40mg for a week. I started to track my temps today, of course it already looks like this is still not working. This is typical for any dose that I have been on. Tomorrow will be very different temp wise from today. I am on 7,1/2 gr, down from 8gr from a week or so. This has happened many times, it seems as if I have something working then it stops, all in the same day. My BP will lower to normal for a half hr or so then it shoots back up. It is as if the HC & thyroid meds try to make everything work but it just cannot sustain it. Gale > > >> This > seemed to be working until today when my temps so far have been 99.0 > then 97.5. Guest guest
I think you are doing this backwards. You need to lower the thyroid and get the adrenals RIGHT THEN try to raise the thyroid. You havea buttload of thyroi djust sitting in your blood waiting for enough cortils to get it to the cells and meanwhile it si stressing your adrneals to the max and cauasing then to no toptimise. I would lower to no more than 3 grais and see what your temps do afgter 2 weeks then. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
I have been at 7,1/2gr for over a year and a half except for the 6 months that I was on T3. I was never on HC at that time though. I had labs before this when I was on 5grain & the T4 was barely midrange & the T3 was at the top of the range. Maybe I should go back to 5gr for now? Gale > > I think you are doing this backwards. Guest guest
I would so you don't go right back to a ton of RT3. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
You have a point Val. I may already have a ton of RT3. I will drop back to 5gr for a couple of weeks & see if I can get stable temps. Thanks for your help Val, I really appreciate all that you do.
