Guest guest
Hi after recieving RAI for graves in 2005 i was put on synthroid without having my adrenals tested and since developed severe depression for which i was prescribed remeron. I recently started taking a adrenal corticol extract after i did the self tests with the light and showed i had fatigued adrenals. I would also like to switch over to armour and found a site on the net selling it without a script, should i treat my adrenals before i switch over to armour or should i get off synthroid as soon as possible. I take 175mcg of it aday. Also the adrenal extact i use is not isocort its made by Nutricology, is it the same thing or does it not contain cortisol?? Cant find any decent doctors or Endo's here in australia, seems like a matter of having to take this on myself if i ever want to be cured. I am also intolerant of gluten and believe this was the reason i developed all my symptoms of hyperactive thyroidism in the first place. I also cant sleep at night even with the remeron and have been put on valium, which is still not enough so i mix valium, remeron, melatonin, and doxylamine succinate all together to get to sleep. I have high colesterols, and are completely unable to work, totally debilitated by my ailments. Any advice will be welcomed.
Guest guest
Hi Shaun, I would say get Armour. Syncrap just doesn't seem to work well for us without a thyroid gland. You may also want to try the thyroidless yahoo group. Just my 2 cents. I hope you figure it all out.
