I just ordered the following blood tests to be done next week (Mon or

Tues)

Potassium

Vit D

Calcium

TSH

Free T3

Free T4

RT3

aldesterone

Renin

Can anyone give suggestions on what I should and shouldn't be

taking/eating/drinking the day of the test and the day before the

test? I always go in for labs first thing in AM for a " trough " (sp?)

or the thyroid tests, but I'm unsure about some of the other tests b/c

I've never had them done before.

Currently I take Calcitriol, Sea Salt, Iodine, Sythroid, Armour, HC,

Calcium, iron.

btw, I didn't order a ferritin or DHEA test b/c I had those done last

time and already know they are both low.

Thanks, Lexie

Thanks Val -

When you say " fast " , what does that mean? No table salt/sea salt?

Or no foods that contain any sodium? There are probably some things I

eat that contain sodium that I'm not aware of. Is is okay to keep

taking iodine?
