Guest guest
Val, My most recent labs were: FT4 1.06, FT3 2.9 and TSH .033. (These are FASTING states) My TPO and TSI were VERY high so my Grave's disease is very active. My temps had steadied and as soon as I tried to increase just 1/4 grain, I felt good at first and then got agitated and nervous after just two days. When I cut back to my previous armour dose and increased my IsoCort one pellet, I started getting hypo symptoms (dry skin, tired, harder stools, etc.) Where should I go from here? I am taking 8 pellets of IsoCort (3, 2, 2 and 1) at four hour intervals. My temps are dropping again! Help! Guest guest
You may need ot rasie Isocort and thyroid together in small increments. 15 mg Armoru with an extra 1-2 pellets of Isocort. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/
Guest guest
Thanks Val. I think I will try alternating between 2.25 and 2.5 grains of Armour every other day and stay at the 8 pellets (I was taking 7 pellets before when I tried to increase my Armour to 2.5 grains everyday). I will give it a week and see if that helps! Guest guest
Val--could you explain really briefly how hypothyroidism can predispose you to yeast infections? I know I've heard this but I don't understand why. I've googled but not gotten anything of substance. Thanks. --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals?
