HI all,

I am new to the group. My name is Loralee. Married to Navy guy, 5 kids and

homeschool...I started writing an earlier post and it just drug on...In 2000

diagnosed with

hypo after 3rd child. stuck on Synthroid no tweaking for years...found ND who

helped me

with getting on Thyrolar. I felt great for a couple weeks then had massive bout

of

thyroiditis...very sick (approx 5/2004). My PCM had me stop all thyroid meds

until it

leveled off. Then started with a compound RX to take a time release T-3 cream

and

SYnthroid. Added in iodine after low loading test. Felt ok but not great. As

time went on I

started to get heart symptoms, palps, short of breath, anxiety, low BP, etc

pointing to

adrenal issues. Did some adrenal support felt better. I have wrestled with

debilitating

exhaustion for years but docs would stay of course you have 5 kids, homeschool,

and labs

are fine. They would always offer Prozac but I knew I wasn't depressed I was

exhausted

(the only depression I suffered was from docs dumb responses!) We moved and 21

days

later hubbie deployed for a year. As year went on my coping skills got worse

and worse

which has never been me. I have always been able to dig in and do what needed

to be

done. Felt like I was gong to snap. In July 07 finally had Nurse Practitioner

order antibody

labs and came back positive. Saw a new specialist in Aug 07. She has been

awesome...treats on symptoms. I could not tolerate Cytomel with Synthroid. As

time went

on could not tolerate Synthroid. Every dose would give me hyper symptoms and if

I didnt

take it I was short of breath almost wheezing. Tried Armour (30 MG and 15 MG)

but felt

extremely hyper, eyes glazed, heart pounding...through more research found out

it was

most likely an adrenal response. Tried same adrenal support as before but it

made me

totally on edge like I wanted to put someone through a wall...found another

yahoo group

and heard about multidosing Armour. So for the past two weeks I have been

taking

approx 1 1/2 grains Armour dosed 1/4 grain at a time 5-6 times a day. I am

still having

a hard time with the 2100 dose as it is hard to fall asleep with it but I wake

without it at 3

am and have vivid dreams. I tried a different whole adrenal glandular but it

made me

irritable. I am currently taking an Adrenal Cortex Extract and it has helped

alot with clear

thinking for the first 3 days. But now I feel cruddy...spacey, migraine

headache, ache in

upper back. Dont know if I got too much??

I started taking temps yesterday 97.0 97.2 96.5 97.0; today 97.0 97.9 98.0 what

was

weird is that I got this sudden frozen feeling in my feet and took my temp and

that was

when it read 98.0

I do the sea salt intermittently (1 tsp in water). My BP has regulated . Pulse

is not high

anymore but I still feel like my adrenals are struggling.

My doc said to stay at the current Armour dose until I see her in May.

Sorry for rambling. Trying to give you the gist so I can get some insight.
